Who tell me about their goals and plans.
They want to know if and how I can help them…
Or what advice I can give them…
Or to which resources I can point them.
On the one hand I want to show them professional courtesy.
And on the other hand…
I don’t care.
If there’s one thing you realize after hearing from these “pick your brain” types…
Is that most of them are talkers.
It’s like that scene in Game of Thrones when the Hound says,
“You’re a talker. Listening to talkers make me thirsty and hungry.”
